1. How does the evaluation procedure work?
Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ICES) is a private, non-profit organization. ICES prepares evaluation reports that identify the United States equivalents of educational qualifications earned in other countries.
To request an evaluation report, you must complete an application form and submit it to us, along with all required documentation and all applicable fees.
We prepare five different types of evaluation reports: General ($85); Course-by-Course ($135); Subject Analysis ($175); Catalog Match ($225); and Health Professions Licensure ($250).
Our application form and website detail what is included in each type of evaluation report, and describe their suggested uses. If, after reviewing the application form, you have additional questions about which type of report to request, please contact us for assistance before submitting the application. We also recommend that you first contact the institution(s) to which you will be submitting the report (schools, colleges, universities, licensing boards, etc.) to determine which type of report is required for your purposes.

13. How do I make a request for a copy of a previously prepared report?
ICES can issue additional copies of previously prepared evaluation reports. This service is available for reports prepared within the last ten years. To ensure that the evaluation reports we issue reflect current ICES research and evaluation policies, we recommend that anyone who had an evaluation report completed more than ten years ago apply for a new evaluation report.
Please send us a letter, including your reference number, when requesting additional copies of the evaluation report. You must specify the complete mailing addresses to which you want the report copies sent. The fees are $30 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy ordered at that time. We will issue the copies within three business days of rICESiving your written request and the required fees.
We accept payment by money order, certified check, or Visa or MasterCard. If you pay by credit card you must also provide the credit card type, card number, expiration date, and the holder’s name and the billing address. If you are paying by credit card, you may fax your request and credit card information. If you are paying by check or money order please send your request and payment via mail.
